Sunday’s In Brooklyn Pancakes - Healthier Version.
I have one special friend that is always suggesting ideas for new recipes…she's a keeper. Sometimes I need feedback from my community and friends of what they want to see from Plenah. I love getting inspired by others.
She insisted on re-creating these pancakes that we absolutely love, and is a must everytime I fly to New York. The restaurant is called Sundays in Brooklyn.
These are a healthier version using my hazelnut butter, they turned out so delicious and fluffy’s I couldn't believe I actually pulled it out.
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour.
A pinch of little salt.
1/3 cup maple syrup.
1 tablespoon baking powder.
1 tablespoon baking soda.
15 drops of liquid stevia or you can use 1/2 cup of monk fruit.
2 eggs
1 cup of buttermilk. To make it you need 1 cup of milk of your choice and 1 tablespoon of vinegar — let it sit for 15 min.
2 tablespoons @plenahmarket_ hazelnut butter
Instructions:
In a bowl combine the dry ingredients, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add the buttermilk and eggs. Mix well
In another bowl, mix the hazelnut butter and maple syrup.
In a non-stick pan, add the mixture and let it cook for 2 minutes and then turn for another minute
. Add butter and then the hazelnut butter.
Enjoy!
