5 Ingredient Summer Peach Dump
Peaches originate from China. They are rich in vitamin A, that helps us, protecting our lungs and oral cancers. They are packed with nutrients and antioxidants, It helps reducing allergy symptoms, it can reduce blood sugar levels, it helps our skin look healthy.
When selecting peaches, typically the sweeter their smell, the riper they will be. Try to avoid brownish, bruised, or wrinkled fruits, which are either damaged or overripe. Instead, look for peaches with a hard or only slightly soft flesh.
You can tell a peach is ripe and ready to eat when you press down on its flesh and feel it slightly give.
Ripe peaches last about one week at room temperature. If you are not planning to eat them by that time, it’s best to store them in your refrigerator to avoid over-ripening.
Bottom line is, peaches are rich in many vitamins, minerals. They can easily be part of your salads, desserts, breakfast and more.
I made this recipe back in august, peaches are seasonal in summer — so it’s the perfect time, you can easily find them throughout the year.
Ingredients:
2 peaches or more depending on how many are eating.
1/2 cup of coconut sugar.
1/2 cup of ghee.
1 tablespoon of vanilla.
Aprox 2 tablespoon of honey.
5 Sugar free maria biscuit (optional).
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350.
In a bowl add peaches, coconut sugar, butter & honey.
Let it cook until softener.
Crush galleta María biscuit.
